Mattock Rangers “Silent Sideline” initiative was officially launched last Wednesday in the Clubhouse with Club Chairperson Mark Leacy , Club Secretary Earnan Roche, and club Childrens Officer Sinéad McFadden.
Mentors and parents attended, and mentors collected their bibs to support the cause.
The objective of this initiative is to continue to create and ensure a positive and calm environment for our young players.
If a side-line is only supportive, young players can more easily concentrate, make their own decisions, make mistakes without fear of criticism, and learn the game in a natural manner.
Large signage of the campaign is visible on entering all pitches and mentors of all age groups. U11 will share the club philosophy with all visiting teams and supporters .
If you missed the meeting please check out our social media pages for the presentation.
