Benefit Night in Aid of Mattock Rangers Ladies & Irish Heart Foundation

by admin on January 28, 2013

Mattock Rangers Ladies would like to thank everybody who supported their fundraiser last Friday night when a great nights crack and entertainment was witnessed by all present.

The night began with a table quiz hosted by two GAA legends, Seamus O’Hanlon from Louth and Bernard Flynn from Meath.  Needless to say the good old Meath/Louth banter went on throughout the night.  There were lots of fun and games during the quiz with spot prizes galore.  The quiz was followed by an auction of two signed Louth jerseys, one by the men and one by the ladies and a beautiful painting of the square in Collon very kindly donated by Nancy McCabe.  A draw concluded the fundraising events.

Many thanks to all our sponsors who are listed below, also a big thanks to DJ Carrie for providing the music until the early hours of the morning.  Thanks to all who helped on the night, to Paddy Watters for providing his exceptional auctioneering skills, to Noel Hand for composing the questions, our two quiz masters, Seamus and Bernard, who would give Chris Tarant a run for his money any day, to Alan & Lisa and all the staff of Watters, to our photographer, Mary, definitely heading for a job with Hello.., and last but by no means least to all the people who showed up and made the night a great success for all.
